 Are you a High School student? This information is for you.

Individuals, at least 18 years of age and with a Nova Scotia address can register as an off-campus borrower (OCB) by completing the OCB registration form (link below) 

On your first visit to the library, you'll show two pieces of identification (one with photo) providing proof of Nova Scotia residency.  Your OCB card is valid for one year; renewable.

You will have access to:

  • general book collection
  • in-library access to electronic resources
  • in-library access to print journals and magazines
  • borrowing privileges at all Novanet libraries and Nova Scotia's public libraries
  • interlibrary loans (document delivery) service

You will not have access to:

  • study or seminar rooms
  • course reserves
  • off-campus access to electronic resources
