Professors and instructors put relevant materials on reserve to ensure all students in a particular course have opportunity to use them. Reserve materials are given a shorter loan period (one-hour, three-hour, 24-hours, etc.) for a limited time (ex. term). Occasionally, the reserve item must be used in the library.
NOTE: As reserves items are in high demand, fines are charged on late returns.
Most reserve items are articles or books however, you'll also find less traditional items such as:
- phone chargers
- power banks
- financial calculators
- scientific calculators
- headphones
- bone kits
- rock kits
- games
- energy lamps
- maps
- sound machines
You will present your myCBUcard to Circulation staff when borrowing Reserve items.
