Yes. Check for your lost item at the Circulation Desk.
Commonly misplaced items include:
- ID Cards (student, passport, driver’s license, etc.)
- Bank and credit cards
- USB’s/flash drives
- Articles of clothing
- Textbooks
- Confidential papers (assignments, tests, visa applications, official papers, etc.)
- Chargers, phones, knapsacks
Lost items will be checked for identification (except for USBs) and will be tagged and dated. After receiving notification, an owner has 14 days to claim the item. You will be asked to present a photo ID when claiming a lost item. Should no photo ID be available (if for example, a wallet is lost) proof of address must be given.
DISPOSAL
With the exception of bank and credit cards, all lost items will be dated and disposed off appropriately after two weeks.
NOTE
The CBU Library is not responsible for items left unattended in the library.
OTHER
- A "lost and found" bin is located at Campus Security
- If you've lost your myCBUcard, check with Student Services
